First Day of the SoCal Trip: Drive South and Assmeble Party Favors

And we are off to SoCal! Fun Times await. But first the long drive..

Still driving south.

At least there was some nice scenery.

And the sun is getting lower so it is time to EAT!

Most convenient place: McDonalds. This was a very sparsely populated McDonalds. There was a sign for 2 McChickens for $2. Dan ordered 2 McChickens. The cashier didn't know what a McChicken was so Dan ordered a $5 Grilled Chicken Club. He said it was tasty.

The sun had set by the time we arrived at the Feather house around the corner from Disney. From the very first glimpse you could tell the house was initeresting.

After eating some homemade chili, we headed out to the backyard patio, sat by the pool, and watched the Disney fireworks. Quite a good view.

Time to assemble and stuff party favors for the wedding. We brought all the various parts we had previously created so all we had to do were the final touches.

Look at all the assembled boxes!

Still folding

Dan is a genius and created a funnel to fill the boxes with candies.

Yum

Once the M&Ms were funneled in, Dan wore his tiny gloves to artfully insert one Lake Champlain Raspberry Chocolate in each box.

We output 2 bins full of favors.

Notice the aesthetics.
